Edwina Ong
Instructor, Australia
Growing up in Singapore, I found my competitive streak playing chess at the early age of six, and later on, in tennis and ultimate frisbee. I would say I'm actually obsessed with anything tennis-related now, I'm not @edwinadal without reason (any Rafa fans, hit me up).
After living in London for a couple of years, I fell in love with Barry's and the adrenaline that the red room brings. The endorphin rush after every class is unmatched, and there's really no better way to start the day. Before becoming an instructor here at Barry's, I've coached HIIT, boxing and spin, and my goal for my clients has always been to leave feeling stronger and better about themselves than when they first entered class. I'm a huge believer of maximising the time we have in the studio, because it's an hour we can't get back.
In my classes, you can expect remixes of songs you'll want to sing along to, and massive beat drops to sprint to (or burpee to, you choose your poison) - basically, a (Britney) party in the red room.
